the beginnings of a crochet beanee requires a ring, which is the foundation to which you crochet into. We happen to think that it resembles a bum hole! Would you agree? So I guess it's only fair to say that in preparation for our stall at this years NEWTOWN FESTIVAL Bex & I have been literally crocheting our bum holes off to bring you more awesomely woollen goodness. This 100% NZ wool is known by colour as DONKEY, in a beanee it pairs beautifully with a sage/mint coloured pom pom, but with this mega change in weather you'll have to be quick to the Festival tomorrow to snap one of them up for yourself.
As always we'll have some delightful beanees for all the family, ranging from our good old classics to new chunky ones in an array of colours & only the best wools for yous! & this year we're offering free pom poms with beanees! Here's all the details: facebook.com/events/1449431735314269/ see you there! x

https://www.facebook.com/events/525746054186588/536556303105563/?notif_t=plan_mall_activity it's not just a movement, it's our lifestyle. Rebecca & I aren't ones to sit still, crafting is a way to relax. when two work colleagues left work to have babies, we made them teddys. Easter saw us making crochet easter egg wrappers in a crocheted basket & every Christmas sees us competing in a wrapping contest, the best xmas present wrapping wins! on school holiday visits to Nana's farm house in Eketahuna, nana would line the dining table with newsprint paper & we were let loose to craft till our heart's content. Craft we did & still do. Recently Rebecca got married & even that was handmade! She even designed her own dress & had that made by a local seamstress (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Andy-G-Just-Sew/368483396605295?fref=ts) Everything from the decorations to the flowers. It was a mighty big haul, but it was gorgeous & we wouldn't have it any other way. there's no moral to this blog, no rhyme or reason, just that craft is what we do, for us it's our way of life & a good life it is.
We are very proud to have been part of a successful fundraising evening for Heretaunga Kindergarten.
